Damon has been a writer, entrepreneur and investor in logistics technology since 1995. He currently is Managing Partner at Olam Capital. Previously in 2006 he founded Shipwire, a pioneer in eCommerce logistics, providing growing product brands with enterprise order fulfillment services across North America, Europe, and Asia. He led the company through venture capital funding, strategic investments by eBay and Newell Rubbermaid, and acquisition by Ingram Micro (Fortune #62) in 2013. Damon remained with Ingram until 2016, running the Shipwire business unit and integrating the platform into Ingram’s core business. The platform has been recognized as best supply chain management solution, best technology workplace, visionary in Gartner's magic quadrant for logistics, and continues handling billions of dollars in eCommerce annually. In 2002, Damon released Delivering the Goods: The Art of Managing Your Supply Chain (Wiley), which became a bestseller in English, Russian and Thai. Damon is actively involved in the Young President's Organization (YPO), and the Boy Scouts of America. He holds a BA in economics and a MS in product design engineering from Stanford University.
